
Since 1993, in the heart of the pastoral streets of Nachalat Shiva, resides Cavalier restaurant, offering an intimate experience in a precise, contemporary, French atmosphere. The restaurant offers an evening menu with daily changing specials, insisting on the highest quality of raw materials and presentation, while staying loyal to the famous saying, that in food, "The secret is in the simplicity". In the lunch-time "bistro hour", one can enjoy the noted Cavalier quality in surprising prices, business lunches starting at 79 NIS. Cavalier is one of very few elite restaurants that have existed in Israel for over 18 years, keeping its quality and precise service while constantly thinking of ways to renovate and refresh its menus. Just last year, Cavalier won the title as one of the three best restaurants in Israel, in a consumers survey, held by channel 10.
Cavalier was established by Chef Didi Ben-Arush, and has been the home of many brilliant chefs throughout the years. Currently in charge of the kitchen is Chef Uri Levy (30), who joined Cavalier after working at Joel Robuchon's 2-Michelin star restaurant "l'atelier" for three and a half years.
